IIS access only by few group of user.
Hi everyone.
I am trying to set my static website for my intranet using IIS6 so that only certain group of user can access into my website. Can someone guilde me what should i do? THankss

One way is to disable anonymous access and set the file permissions on the web files to allow only the desired windows group(s) to gain access.

This is the IIS forum what others are you referring to? In IIS in the management console you'll find a spot to disable anonymous access. Look at the IIS mmc help for details. |
