IIS and firewall
OK im very new to this. I run IIS on win xp pro. I host my own php server off my personal computer.
Recently ive notice a few bad ips on my page. Some that have been banned from other sites for hacking. So i installed Zonealarm for some quick and free protection until i can figure out this problem. How do i set up a personal firewall with IIS that still allows people to view my website? Any EASY way to do this? Recommended software? free is better for me this is just a personal webpage, not a company one. Thanks Evan |

Re: IIS and firewall
Since you are using software just for your personal HP, you should be using ports 80 and 8080 and, you also should be able to free those ports for commmunication with other servers in your firewall software... this should solve the problem... greetings
