IIS does not work with internet connection, I am new with IIS , please help
Hi all,
I installed IIS v5.1 locally on my pc. And I can only see my web files on browser when I unplug my internet connection. Otherwise I get HTTP 500 error for the pages. I am using URL on the browser. Please help thanks

What is error 500 in human readable terms?
Did you set your IP address (go to Properties) for your site? Also if you have a firewall enable the port for IIS (usually port 80, can be set in Properties).
