IIS & firewall
AS i've been posting messages on the board for soemtime now about ASP pages hangs up every now and then. AT that time IIS services running fine, its just ODBC/OLEDB pages hangs up. The only way to make it work is to restart the server.
My question is - we have cisco firewall installed on the server what setting do we have to check/uncheck to make sure firewall is not cuasing this problem? Thanks in advance |

The odds are very high that there are pages in your site that don't clean up db objects, or that have incorrect coding causing orphaned db object to leak your server's memory until you have to restart.
PerfMon might show you something. I doubt it's firewall related (but you just never know )
