IIS Install on Vista Problem
Hello:
I tried to install IIS on my PC and I'm running Vista. The Internet Information Services feature is turned on. There is a check mark in the box. I go to my browser and I type http://localhost and I receive the following message: "localhost" is not set up to establish a connection on port "World Wide Service (HTTP) with this computer. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thank you in advance. |

sounds like some firewall setting or something, but I don't have Vista to check with, sorry.

No problem. I got so frustrated with Vista and IIS, I installed WAMP 5 and I'm up and running.
Thanks for the reply. |
