IIS Installation
My machine is running XP Professional and I have installed IIS Server. Looks like it is not installed properly. When I go to look at IIS and Websites and Default Websites has been stopped and when I try to connect, it is giving me the following error:
"Unexpected Error 0X8ffe2740 occured" Could some help me fix this issue. Thanks |

Sounds like something didn't go well with your IIS installation. If you weren't an administrator user when you installed IIS, become administrator, uninstall, reboot, reinstall
Firewall software can sometimes interfere with IIS.

This can happen if you have something else listen on the same port as IIS, do you have apache or some other web server running and listening on port 80 (default IIS Port) when you are trying to run IIS?
