IIS internal server error 500
hi,
i m VS.NET user. my localhost worked fine.. and i dont know what happen, now its not working.... if i type http://localhost it show page cannot be displayed and http 500 internal server error. and also i have tried to run an apping in webroot.. http://localhost/test/default.aspx.... it asked for download the default.aspx page. pls give me the solution

In IE turn off the "show friendly http errors" and you should get a more detailed error message. Maybe your net framework got screwed up, a search here should turn up a way to reset all the net to iis registry settings.

i m getting this error. now what can i do.
