IIS IP and PORT Issues (Think I have broken it!)

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can help me. I have tried to change my default port for the default website in IIS. I was struggling to find the answer and found an article on the web which allowed you to use the SSL certificate wizard to change the port SSL was using. (I know its on the very first box on IIS6 but i missed it! God I am stupid!)

Anyway, since i have done all this I can access exchange from any local network machine by using the IP address, localhost or the servers name, however it will no longer let me use OWA over the web using port forwarding from my router. (Its a DG834Gv2 if important)

The router is still forwarding ports to another server correctly. I have tried to open the DMZ to the IIS server and nothing still.

I do not think its the router because it is sending other ports fine. I have deleted the rules and recreated them a couple of times to see if I had made any errors (even tho they looked fine) but still nothing.

I am sure i must have changed something within IIS but I do not know where it would stop me from doing this.

Could someone please assist? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Charlie

I don't use OWA, and I really don't have a clue what you're asking. It sounds like you're blocking a tcp port somewhere from your comments, but I didn't know OWA needed any special ports other than SSL and HTTP
