IIS needs Restart
Hi,
I have a server with IIS which hosts some HTML/ASP pages (around 30) and around 10 Fillable PDF forms. The PDF's will have their respective ASP pages with MySQL as the backend database. While browsing often people report that they are getting 404 (Page not found error). This has become a regular event (mostly bi-weekly). As soon as I get to know above the above issue, I am restarting the WWW Publishing Service from Control Panel --> Services. And the site starts working again, may be, for another 2 or 3 weeks. Please help... Thanks Ali |

Review your asp pages, this sounds like a classic case of leftover code objects causing a slow memory leak.
