Did you install IIS? You do that by going to control panel-add remove programs-add remove windows components

I looked under services and I see IISAdmin. Does that mean IIS is installed? Not sure on my end. And when I type localhost in my browser, I get "Action Cancelled" message.
What am I missing here? Thanks |

Before anybody replies to my previous post - I found out that World Wide Web Publishing Service has a status of 'starting' instead of started. How can I get it running ? Any help ?

Try this:
Open services and stop the WWW service Set the WWW service to Manual startup Reboot Once your computer is rebooted, open services Restart the WWW service Tell your firewall software it's OK that WWW is a service. |
