IIS parsing html or not?
I set up my computer with IIS so that I can run asp includes.
I'm not sure if the web server is parsing html. Here is the mapping: Any ideas? Thanks, |

IIS doesn't need to parse html as it's just a text file. ASP etc has to be parsed because it's a scripting language and needs to be run through a script engine.
You can add .html in there with the same settings as .asp if you want to run .html pages as asp
