IIS SMTP server non-existant
I'm trying to configure a colocated machine that has Windows 2000 Server. The machine has SMTP services installed on it, and I'm pretty sure of that because my attempts to send through it reply with "unable to relay" errors, but there is no "Default SMTP Server" entry in the IIS Manager and it doesn't permit me to create one.
In other words, I know there's a server in there running *somewhere*, but I have no interface to get to it and configure the necessary relays.
I've tried removing and re-installing the service, to no avail. Again, it's running, but I can't get to the administrative aspects of it.
Anyone out there know of a workaround to this issue?
