IIS, SSL, and me...what am I missing?
Hey guys...First off...what a great website and resource this website is. Its in my favorites now
![]() I'm trying to set up an SSL connection for a website...but I'm self signing it. I think I've got it licked, but for some reason the SSL webpages just wont load (they're .aspx) When I got to the http:// site, it gives me the "you must view this over a secure connection" error as it should. When I try to go to it with https://, it tells me the page is down (all pages). I have installed the PSDK, and used the makecert.exe to create my own certificate, and I have processed the request. The firewall it is behind has port 443 open. Does anyone have any ideas what could be holding me back. Thx in advance for any help. My IIS setting My Certificate |

Do you have your httpd file listening on port 443? |

I do have a default doc set if that is what you are asking, and it works for standard connections...I have tried it using html and aspx.
Is there something I need to set for each page? |
