IIS trial version?
hi,
i need to get hold of microsoft IIS....is there a trial version that you can download for free? |

|
IIS is not a stand-alone product, it's part of windows on the versions of windows that offer IIS. If you have any server version, or W2K Pro or XP Pro you have IIS. If you have XP Home or W9x you won't have IIS, although there are available IIS-like servers for W9x systems. XP Home you are out of luck.

ok, related question here. I have XP pro, no idea where the cd went, and can't install IIS without files that are on it apparently. Any way I can accomplish this, download files or something?

thanks for the reply. I went ahead and downloaded the trial version of server 2003, so IIS should be included on the cd's
