IIS V5.1 Windows Pro. Error
Hi i was wondering what this means: Directory Listing Denied. Then underneath: This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
Could anyone help? Thanks. Server URL: http://124.178.107.142 |

It means that the default page doesn't exist: usually something like index.html, index.htm, index.php, default.aspx. Depends on what server you have.
If one of those files existed it would display that when you went to the root of the server, otherwise it doesn't know which file to display and will try to display the folder (which it doesn't have permission to do). |

Actually here's the list for IIS 5.1:
default.htm default.html default.asp default.aspx index.htm index.html You can change this in the IIS manager under the virtual directory properties. I believe it's under the documents tab. |
