IIS w3svc error 30
Hi
I have recently installed security patch and noticed these error message and idea on resolving it. Error code :30 Source w3svc The server was unable to read the file D:\WINNT\help\iisHelp\common\404b.htm. The file does not exist. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. |

The file does not exist but should it exist there, where did it go if it should exist cos havent deleted anything.

You have win2k or something similar on D:\
what do you have on C:\ or E:\ ? It's possible the files have become crosslinked at some point if you have another NT type system installed. I'd be a bit worried about running IIS under these conditions. Grab the file here anyway. Just remove the .txt extension Last edited by balamm : December 19th, 2004 at 09:16 AM. |
