IIS Webpage + NT4 Auth?
Hey,
I'm a total noob when it comes to IIS; I'm more of a nix + apache kinda guy. Anyways, I have a .php file that I want the users on my domain to be able to see (and use). How do I go about doing that? I'm having a whole bunch of other problems with IIS, but thats not my concern right now. All I want is for the webpage to authenticate against the domain. Is it possible to log what each user does as well? Thanks a bunch! Regards, majorglory |

You need to install php if you want IIS to process php files.
You can change the IIS authentication mode, review the IIS help. What kind of logging? IIS provides the same web server logs as other web servers.

I've already installed PHP+MySQL onto the server. All I need now is how to add a authentication process to the webpage before a user can access it.
I'll look into the help files, but if I can't find out how to do it from there, I'll be back. =) Where are the logs placed? |

Logs are normally in \windows\logfiles if I recall correctly. You can view the log location from within the IIS management console.

I don't have a C:\WINNT\logfiles\ folder (Running Windows 2000 Server, not XP)
