IIS won't work unless connected to the internet
For some strange reason my IIS configuration won't work unless the XP PC running it is connected to the internet. This never used to be the case and obiously shouldn't be necessary to get IIS working correctly.
Any ideas as to how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

On my laptop when I'm not hooked up, it takes 2 tries to get IE to talk to the local IIS. I get an error the first time, retry, and connect to the local IIS the 2nd time. It's always been this way for me with W2K/XP.
