IIS6 can't serve asp page

Hello,

i have a windows 2003 server and 2-3 times at days the IIS can serve the asp page, and the only 2 sites that are on the server report a timeout error, no problem for the other html sites... i have check the event viewer but no
error inside, any help?


the error message that i get when IIS stop to serve asp page is:

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can
change this limit by specifying a new value for the property
Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration
tools.

this message come a lot of time later that i wait for the page


i can tell you also that MailEnable and Helm control panel (are in asp) work fine always but i see in IIS that it are isolated and work with MSDE

i have also one site that use ODBC DSN and work without any problem

Hi,

By default in IIS6 Connection Timeout is 120 sec and Script Timeout is set to 90 sec.

To troubleshoot this issue you might want to reduce script timeout value and see if that gives any errors.

I guess this is coding issue and you will need to verify the code.
