IIS6 Hanging On Request - ARRGGHHH
I have yet another IIS6 problem. Is IIS6 really that difficult to use???? Anyway, whinge over - For now!...
Problem is this, when ever I get an error with a script, instead of the error being reported back on my web page my client continues to request information from IIS6 and the session is just completely stuck. The only way around this is to restart IIS. Now this cannot be right. There must be a setting or something that I can change that will stop this. I've changed the timeout to 30 seconds but to no avail. I have also toyed with many other settings like debugging server and client side. I'm really stuck again and any help would be most appreciated.
Has anyone heard of this problem? Is this a bug that is fixed by a release? I cannot connect to Windows update either to have a look.
The error can be as little as a single x on it's own line. What a nuisance!
What a farce this is! It really is. Oh yeah, I said whinge over didn't I.
Please help!
Phil.
