Inetinfo was taking up all the CPU cycles
I was facing problem that inetinfo was taking up all the CPU cycles. I tried running IISRESET bout inetinfo would not respond, so then I tried shutting down the inetinfo services(FTP, IIS Admin, webpublishing....) one by one but that also failed. So I then rebooted the server. The server went down and came back up without problem.
Can any body tell me what caused this problem and how to solve |

maybe some dodgy asp/database code causing resources to leak and eventually crashing IIS. I'd look for code problems in pages first, IIS is rock-solid by itself.
Pay close attention to any asp code using Access db's.
