Interix + IIS

Hi,

When my IIS Server is down. I found in system event viewer that there is a Error with Source: Interix, Event ID: 1014 and along with following description " Could not connect to mapping server at localhost while connecting: RPC program not registered".

What is this Interix? Why this error is coming.. Please any one will help in this matter...?
