Launch Process with Window Open from CGI script
Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is where to post for this, but it seems to be an issue with IIS. I'm trying to launch a program (Windows Media ASF Viewer 9 Series) from a Perl script. I need the gui window to come up. If I access the perl script from the command line, it works. If I call the perl script via iis/web browser, it does not. Every thing I have tried to force this fails. Is there a setting in IIS that would cause this to fail? Any way around? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks markus |

I haven't a clue, sorry. If no one jumps in you could try the Perl forum.
