More PHP problems
I am trying to setup IIS and PHP to test scripts locally. I have tried reading every tutorial and forum post i could find (three days worth). Still no joy.
I have IIS 5.1 on XP with PHP 4.3.4 (also tried virtually every other version) I have tried automatic installers and manual installers; reconfiguring php.ini, moving various .dlls and configuring PHPs properties to enable scripts and executables but when i try to browse the phpinfo script it tries to download it or opens it in dreamweaver. PLEASE PLEASE anyone HELP. I am now nearly bald at 23....

It sounds like you are trying to browse to the php file in the filesystem.
You must open php and asp files with the webserver, by opening your browser to http://localhost/whateverpage.php
