my desktop freezing when install IIS ??

my desktop freezing when install IIS ??
i don't know what happen
i install the IIS in my XP SP2 but i notic this:
when i connect to Internet ..my computer is freez ..i click for any thing in Desktop but it is not responding it is take 5 min and then it is become natural .. the computer is freez for 5 min and then become normal
what happen
i notic it when i install the IIS
when i uninstall it (IIS) it is no problem ..but i want the IIS for ASP.net
please help me

I told : when iconnect to Internet ..when estblishing the connect (to net) my computer or ( my cpu) not responding .it is freez ..all command and operation is respond after 5 or 10 minutes
it is happen when I install the compnent IIS in my win XP SP2
??????????
