.NET problems,IIS on XP pro
I have XP pro running IIS and I have visual studio 2003
at first when I started a new project in vs as a web app it said that .net 1.1 was not supported by IIS I then reinstalled the .net framework .. thinking that that may get IIS updated, but no! CAn someone please tell me how to get IIS on XP pro to be able to run .net apps M3ckon |

I don't do much with NET. I've seen a couple posts here and there that seem to hint about installing the net framework, iis and vs in some particular order. Maybe try reinstalling all of them?

Browse the .NET Component Update CD, select the dotNetFramework folder and execute setup.
Of course you need to install IIS first, with all the recommended options. Hope this helps. |
