Not able to configure IIS on XP Pro
Hi,
I am trying to configure IIS on my note book which is having XP Pro. I am doing this through Add/ Remove programs. It is going fine till some time and it hangs at some point. At this time on the progress bar window, it shows a message like "COmpleting configuration of SMTP services". I waited there for 6 hours to complete. but it is not completed the process. Can anybody help me how to resolve this. Thanks in advance. Vasu

One guess you have some antivirus script blocking program that's interfering with the setup. Or maybe firewall software. Or maybe you're not an administrator user when you're installing.
