Not able to configure IIS on XP Pro
Hi,
I am trying to configure IIS on my note book which is having XP Pro. I am doing this through Add/ Remove programs. It is going fine till some time and it hangs at some point. At this time on the progress bar window, it shows a message like "COmpleting configuration of SMTP services". I waited there for 6 hours to complete. but it is not completed the process. Can anybody help me how to resolve this. Thanks in advance. Vasu |

One guess you have some antivirus script blocking program that's interfering with the setup. Or maybe firewall software. Or maybe you're not an administrator user when you're installing.
