Password Protect pages or folders in IIS

Hello,

Can anyone help me password protect certain pages or folders on my IIS server?

You can remove anonymous authentication and then use windows file permissions on files and folders. IIS will prompt for a username/password if the logged-on user doesn't have sufficient permissions.

IIS6 might be different, I don't have that version.

I'm doing some digging on this, because I would like to know too.

Below is a thrid party peice of software to do what you need
