PDF and IIS 5 - PLEASE HELP!!!

We have a server with Windows 2000 Server - IIS 5.

*The problem is that clients with Acrobat Reader 7 can´t see PDF-files that we host properly.

- Either they only see the first page in the pdf
- or they see it blank
- or the get the error message "the file is damaged and can not be repaired"

*With Acrobat Reader 5 and 6 or Acrobat 5 and 6 - everything works fine! So the problem only seems to occur with Acrobat 7.

*Some PDF-files on our server, maby 1 of 10 works fine in Acrobat 7. (so possibly they where made with some setting that works with our IIS)

- I have tried both application/pdf and application/x-pdf as mime-type. I also tried application/octet-stream.

- I have also tried diffrent settings in distiller.

------------------------------------------------------------
--->I´m looking for a solution either in the IIS server or a way to create PDF-files with settings that works.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I don't think IIS does anything but pass along a .pdf file to the browser. I doubt this is an IIS issue, particularly since users with older readers have no problems. Acrobat reader can be finicky sometimes.

Other servers like apache, or IIS6 doesn´t have this problem!

The problem only occurs for acrobat 7 user, when they in IE6 click on a href link to a pdf on a IIS5 server.

I dont know whats causing the problem!
-->What im looking for is a sollution! Either a setting in the IIS or a PDF-setting.

Settings in IE och Acrobat is not relevant, since user don´t know about that.
