Problem setting up HTTPS on IIS 5

Hi guys,

I have a domain name which I host and provide DNS for on my home machine. What I am trying to do is setup SSL. I am currently getting a "Cannot find server or DNS Error" message when attempting to connect to the HTTPS, but can connect without SSL fine.

Setup is as follows:

ADSL on static IP
Firewall on ADSL router (set to allow DNS, HTTP and HTTPS)
Windows 2000 Server, IIS 5 and Windows DNS
The router provides me with my IP - wonder if this might be a problem?
I have got a Comodo certificate and installed in MMC and attached to the relevant site in IIS.

Not sure what other information might be helpful?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, 443 was open.

I've actually sorted it now. I had left the web site identification ip address as all unassigned. Setting that has fixed it.

I found that out using this excellent tool from Microsoft, SSLDiag:

I recommend that to anyone having SSL setup issues.

The tool was incredibly useful. It's like having an "I win" button. Definitely get the tool if you're having problems.
