Problems setting up IIS
I get this error when loading default page:

Did you install IIS while logged on as an administrator user? I once was able to install IIS as a non-admin user and all sorts of weird stuff showed up. Fixed by logging on as admin, uninstall IIS, reboot, reinstall IIS as admin.
Other than that, maybe you have some firewall software getting in the way, or you've installed some other protection software that changed some permissions in the system registry.

YEa. I always login as Administrator. In fact, that's the only profile.
I have to mention that the instalation was not straight. For some reason, port 80 is not available. Also, I'm running APACHE SERVER ON PORT 8080. So, I set IIS default page to port 8000. I guess the port changing may cause this problem. Any other idea ? |
