Problems with IIS sharing of a printer
Problems with IIS printer sharing
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had a Windows 2000server with IIS running I'm not using active directory I have a printer attached via IP, and have shared it out. That was working fine Then I upgraded to Windows 2003, it stopped working. I've gone to my computer / manage / IIS / website name / printers folder and made sure that anonymous directory access was set up. When I try to connect to that printer from a remote site, via the printers web page, I get access denied. When I try to add the printer using the http://....... url method, that fails too. Any ideas? I don't have the answer, but it sure sounds like some permission settings got changed on the server.
