Programmatic Access to IIS Anonymous, possible?

    Hi,

I hope this is the write group I`m posting to, but it seems ok

What I am trying to do is examine the IIS Anonymous user
from an ASPX page in VB.NET

Anyone any idea if this can be done (Do I need to use ABO or ADSI?)

    Cheers,

    Steve

There was an article in Windows & NET magazine very recently on scripting to IIS. It would probably be a good place to start looking.

What do you mean "examine" the IIS anonymous user?

In ASP.Net, the system.security namespace has several classes geared around checking the security of the current user (which would be the built-in ASPNET user account)
