Redirecting/rerouting websites
I think this is in the right topic, but my apologies if it is not. A friend of mine showed me a few months back, how you can have a specific computer automatically redirect you to a different website, by going into the System32 folders or Win32 folders (I forgot which one). For example, you could change the settings so that on the one specific computer, instead of going to www.google.com it would redirect you to www.devshed.com
It only does it on one computer, and it's something you change via notepad. Does anyone know what file this is that I change, what it's address is, and how to change it? I need to get even with a freind who pulled a prank on me. Thank you so much! |

Although I will recommend you don't do what you intend, the file you're looking for is the hosts file
