restart/update Index Server automatic or w/ asp script?
When a regular user with no admin powers maintains contents for a portion he got rights, it means that the Index Server with search engine may miss that the new contents, if I understand the Index Server correctly.
Is it possible to automatically update the records of Index Server through some kind of script or with some configuration somewhere? Like it updates itself in the evening hours or early morning at some specified time?
Or is it possible to remotely admin the Index Server? Like through some ASP script running on the IIS server which can trigger an update? This would really come in handy.
An example: that user adds a new PDF file with new procedures to a particular webdirectory. Is it possible to monitor such changes which in result trigger the Index Server or if it's not possible to monitor, have any PDF file or other documents added through an upload ASP script or FTP which triggers the Index Server.
In short I think you get my point I need to know some possibilities and so far any google search hasn't given me any result which came in handy...
