show domainname in address bar
I am trying to setup a website for a small business. They have a server running Windows 2003 server IIS. I have setup the web site to be accessed using the domain name, but the IP address displays in the address bar. I am able to put the web address in the domain header for the IIS web site, but receive an error of “Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)”. The domain is being redirected from the register of the domain.
The main question is how can I show the domain name/path names in the address bar? Do I have to setup DNS on this server to get around this issue? |

How do your users address the site? IE shows the ip if I reference a site by ip, or the domain if I enter the domain name.
