I don't do much with the IIS SMTP service. Have you looked in the IIS service manager and made sure the SMTP service is running, and that it's configured properly for your network? The documentation for the SMTP service is spotty at best, my guess is if mail ends up in the queue folder either the SMTP server isn't picking up the mail for delivery, or for some reason the delivery fails in a way that doesn't remove the mail from the queue folder.

Just some guessing

Well I have it running and as far as I know I have it configured properly. The tutorials I found to set it up were all the same and their wasnt much you do to set it up so Im not sure what I could change to figure it out. Does anyone mabye know of an alternative mail server to the iis one that I could try that might work better then this for sending emails from my webpages on my server?

Thanks allot for the help so far.

Maybe this will be useful

http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...4&Product=iis50

Or this google search

http://www.google.com/search?q=iis+...:en-US:official

Also, you might have a firewall or ISP blocking port 25.

Well I thought it was probly that port 25 was closed so I just tried it at school connected up. And it sent perfectly fine to my school email but when I tried sending it to my hotmail email account it didnt work and went in the queue folder as always. So Im guessing the problum aint with my IIS but something with ISP's or something. Im confused when its comes to this email mess here with only being able to send to my school email from my school but if anyone else has anything to add or suggest Id like to hear it. Thanks
