This question deals with IIS an Dreamweaver MX. Dreamweaver MX for those of you familiar, manages your site and connects to the remote IIS server so that everytime you make a chnage it also occurs there right away..nice feature.
My question is: Right now i have a folder inside wwwroot\Intranet.. This can be accessed by typing in the url servername/Intranet/ However I would like to rename this to Gateway so it can be addressed like this servername/gateway/ or just by typing gateway in the address field. I can do this on the IIS server but i am afraid that DW MX will not update all the links relativly. Is there any other dangers here I should know about or should I just go ahead and do it? Thanks for any advise. |

Just rename the directory and change the settings in dreamweaver to wear the file is located. I am not 100% sure about the dreamweaver part I am 80% sure.
