The format of the specified network name is invalid
I am just configuring SB 2003 on an old SB 2000 box.
I have seven sites hosted on this box. Most of the sites are the sites that are installed with SB 2003, like MS SharePoint, SharePoint Central, etc. I have installed and uninstalled ISA on this box. All of the sites are in the same state, STOPPED. I cannot get them to start. I get an error message of "The format of the specified network name is invalid." When I check event viewer to see the error I get: "Cannot register the URL prefix 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx:80:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/" for site '1710072957'. the site has been deactivated. I have stopped/started all services ( DHCP, DNS, W3Svc ), I have rebooted the machine, I have verified that the only address for the web site is the one I have in the properties. I have tried to change the ports. All to no avail. I am stuck. I need this site to get up and moving. Any help would be much appreciated. |
