unable to use any authentication method other basic authentication
Hi,
I am running IIS 6 on one of the member server within our AD domain. A virtual directory is created and it is connected to the network server in the same domain. NTFS permission is assigned on the shared folders. My problem is that I can not access the virtual directory with Webfolder or IE using any one of the authentication method (Integrated Windows and digest authentication) other than the basic authentication. Even with the basic authentication, I can only access it with IE, but not webfolder (webdav is enabled on IIS). I was given this message "You are not authorized to view this page" everytime I try to use those authentication schemes even I have given full control permission to the user account which I use to access the server Any idea. Thanks |

I don't know IIS6, sorry. Just a guess, maybe there is some setting in IE or your client windows that can turn off NTLM authentication?

The workstations are running XP pro and I assume NTLM and Kerberos are on by default. I can logon to the domain with the MS network client anyway.
