unexpected error 0X8ffe270 occured

I allready have IIS installed and used it. But I disabled it for a while to use appache now when I go back to turn it on it has the red stop sign icon by it and when I hit the start up button i get this error?
unexpected error 0X8ffe270 occured

anyone know what this is and how I fix it ? THANKS!

Hi,

Check following:

1.Is the IISadmin service disabled?
2.If it is not disabled then try to start w3svc service from command prompt.

net start w3svc - This will automatically start IISadmin.

3.If there is problem then above should result with an error message.

4.Make sure Apache server is stopped not listening on port 80.

Thanks allot I just shut off appache and It worked.
