URL Question
Hi all,
I have a website, if I type my website address in IE as http://yyy.com, when the page loads the address remains in that format. What I want to have happened is to force the url to be in http://www.yyy.com. Any ideas how? Thank you |

I'm having the exact same issue. I need to have the URL resolve to URL.[website name].com irregardless of the format actually entered by the user.
For instance if the user navigates to: [website name].com URL name].com URL name].com they still arrive at URL.[website name].com. Google is a good example of this. I thought about using a server side redirect on the default page, however I want my site to be available for spidering by search engines etc. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!!! B |

One possibility is some kind of url cloaking through a service like zoneedit.com, I guess.
There may be some IIS equivalent of Apache's url_rewrite but I don't know what it is.
