W3wp.exe 100% CPU Usage

Hi,
I'm running my site on IIS 6 with PHP. Everything seemed to be ok but it seems like the first week of each month or just at random times w3wp.exe shoots up to 100% CPU usage and it just hangs so i have to restart IIS to get it back up and running. The errors indicate it's the DefaultAppPool that's causing the problem.

I did some research and thought maybe in my code there is an infinite loop but i don't know how to pinpoint it to which file!

I even used IITRACER to trace all the activity and the time each scripts are ran and saw a lot of them running long but bunch of them were just .gif and .swf files..

anyone here know how to analyze these IISTRACER log files or if anyone could give me an idea on how to tackle this issue please?

We used IISPeek to tell us what page was executing and for how long. The enabled us to review the offending page and then do comparison tests. It was cheap and works great.
Good luck......

thanks for the tip

We used the IISPeek tool as a trial and helped solve our problem in 2 hours! It is not even fifty bucks and it made me look like Scotty! Good find. Thanks for the posting.

IISPeek utility rocks!!!
