Website Available From Intranet But Not Internet
First of all, this is on my Windows XP machine. I havent put my 2003 machine on the network yet. Anyways, if I type in the local host name in the address bar (http://myComputerName) it works perfectly. However, if I type in my external IP address I get asked for a username and password. If I type in a local user name and password the website comes up. My issue is with my permissions, I'm sure. IUSR has full permission to the wwwroot directory, and everything underneath it.
Anyone know what my problem is? I've never run into this before. Thanks for the help! |

Are you certain you're ending up at the same place either way?
