Due to a mistakable power-down of my computer (without shutting down first), it seems my IIS metabase is corrupted. I don't have any backup or temp copy for metabase. Is there anything I can do? Will re-install IIS solve the problem (if yes, shall I delete metabase.bin before re-installation)? The OS I'm using is Windows 2000, IIS version is 5.0.
Thanks a lot for help! |

I don't know for sure. There is some MS program that can reset IIS registry settings, you could try that, or if your web structure isn't very complicated I'd say just uninstall IIS and nuke all the web directories, then reinstall IIS and recreate your webs.
