Windows authentication won't logon?
Hi,
I seem to be going round in circles trying to get IIS 7.5 on Windows 7 to accept my domain logon?
I have domain users in the administrators group on my local machine.
But when I try to navigate to a website on a UNC path running under IIS on my local win7 machine all I get is.. Quote: HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. |
But I do, I can navigate to the folder and view all the files of the website and as mentioned my domain account has admin rights over my local machine, so why can't I logon to the website using windows authentication?
A username and password prompt appears, but it won't accept my user credentials?
I've even created a local account and set the UNC path to allow access by EVERYONE but it still refuses to let me logon to the website.
Any ideas
