    Migrate IIS 6 to new hardware


    Old server 2003 IIS 6, new server 2003 IIS 6. Any detailed instructions on this? I am a newbee with IIS. There is a Migration tool but no instuctions for that,

    Did you check the IIS online help and microsoft technet? There should be plenty of documents on the subject.

    Hello,

    If you have only one site you do not have a migration tool. Just set your new site, copy the content and change your DNS records poining to the new server IP. (it ususally take 24 hours for update).
