we have a website that went live several months ago and is working fine and we do several releases and ongoing support.
The site uses SSL.
I have issue accessing the site from Apple MAC safari browser and chrome android mobile.
for MAC safar I get this error:
The website requires a client certificate
For andoroind chroem i get this error:
No certificates found

the server expects you to provide a client certificate for authentication. Obviously you didn't install this certificate in all of your browsers. Go to the browser that does have a certificate and then export it to the other browsers. The manual of your browser will tell you how.

Does that mean each client has to do that?
or you mean i need to do that on each browser on the server.
note that my server has ie and chrome on windows server and the issue occurs on Apple Mac safari and android chrome

This one is easy to fix... It's not obvious, but I had the same issue in the past.
1) Click on your website
2) Double Click on SSL Settings
3) Under Client Certificates: Select the Option Ignore.
4) Hit apply under actions
