I need help understanding my first error on my first "training" app

Hi ALL,
I'm trying to build the first app by following a book step by step but I guess I'm making a mistake.
There I put the google logo and a label ready to be builded and ran.
Then I click on the icon "play" that means Build and Run and it says build succeeded, and the iOs simulate come up and shows me my app but it is still blank and according the book it should display what I put in (googl's logo and the text).

where do I make the mistake? Shouldn't display the content instead blank page?
thx in advance

I just noticed on the debug area this statement:

2012-10-26 04:07:03.376 welcome[1219:c07] Application windows are expected to have a root view controller at the end of application launch

I guess that is the reason of the problem. How do I fix it?

Its been a while since ive worked in Xcode, which it sounds like your using.

At a guess i would say you have not linked the root view controller to the view you have created. Check out the xib and make sure it is actually linked properly to the Root View Controller.
