Chat Rooms
does anyone have experience integrating a chat room on a web page? i'm looking for a free chat room with no ads for my web page. do u have any recommendations.
i would also like to have my users to use their account username to login.

depends on your server - if php is available take a chat written in php and javascript or in perl.
take a look at www.hotscripts.com uŽll find a lot of freee stuff there cheers, jens

hmmmm, i'll take a look at the php ones... do u think an applet connected to an IRC channel would be good?? i think the download times of applets would put off most people....
i'm not too sure about php chat scripts.... i will look into it

u dont need an applet for a chat. applets really annoy (my opinion). if u have a db like mysql available and expect much traffic on the chat take a php script working with mysql. if u dont have a db take a perl and javascript thing. they do their job pretty well.
